Complete Traffic Services NZ Ltd ‘CTSNZ’ work on the forefront of Traffic Management Systems, innovation and technology, looking after projects from initial Traffic Management planning, onsite Traffic Management, Traffic Control, Road Marking, Traffic Equipment through to the final site checks. Operating for over 5 years throughout the North Island, they offer the most comprehensive range of services in the field.

The successful applicant will be working closely with CTSNZ General Manager, overseeing an administration and reception team member and reporting regularly to the Directors. This role would suit someone who has the ability to relate to different demographics of clients, suppliers and employees and also enjoys a bit of social banter with colleagues.

We would love you to be 100% switched on with:
  • Management of accounts, office and administration functions in general
  • Using accounting and job management systems - Xero and Road Direct
  • Payroll - timesheet check, wages, PAYE
  • GST filing, invoicing, debt collection and cash control
  • An expert on MS Excel, written reports and PowerPoint 
  • Governance process
  • Budget control, negotiating account terms, supplier rates and rebates
  • Providing monthly Directors  Reports – accounts, cashflow, forecasts, HS etc
  • Looking after procurement of stock plant equipment
  • Monthly accounts against budgets
  • Accuracy with data entry and systematic
  • Forward thinking and ability to plan, implement and roll-out new structures and systems as required.
  • Strong on team culture and employee engagement

Salary package plus bonus circa $170K p/a

The Brief: 

Financial Controller / CFO to manage overall finance function for small group of companies with head office based in Tauranga. A core member of the Executive team who participates in key decisions, strategic initiatives and business modelling. 

The Business: 

A long-established and well reputed leader in interior fit-outs and joinery manufacturing, specialised in construction and delivery of high spec, bespoke retail and commercial interiors, Gartshore have substantial resources at their disposal to meet the demands of the construction, commercial, retail interiors and joinery supply sector. The Ideal Candidate:

  • A Chartered Accountant with experience working in a commercial finance role.
  • Experience with Job Costing financial systems and project financial reporting.
  • Ideally with knowledge of NZ Construction Contracts Act and experience in applying legislation.

  • Working closely with the MD and Executive team to develop, enhance and implement policies, procedures, processes, systems and controls to improve risk profile, operational efficiency, profitability and overall business performance.
  • Accountability for overseeing the following functions of the business: Administration, Accounts, Payroll, Insurance and Information Technology.
  • Ensuring accurate delivery and timely output of all financial management, budgeting, forecasting and accounting deliverables.

  • Developing professional relationships with key advisors and overhead suppliers.

This newly created Production Planning Coordinator role is driven by Pacific Stone’s continued growth and the need to optimise the links between Sales, Production, Office and Accounts, Installers and Suppliers.

Pacific Stone are a leading supplier and fabricator of quality handcrafted surfaces, all made to order from stunning natural and engineered Stone and Porcelain products. They measure, fabricate and install beautiful granite, marble, stone, engineered stone and porcelain for kitchens, bathrooms, fire hearths, reception counters and a host of commercial spaces.

Based in Tauranga, you will assist the Production Manager in optimising the planning and scheduling processes, by reviewing production specifications, minimising times and costs, maximising resource efficiencies and looking after the purchasing and documentation control process. You will be a key communication link between the teams, a confident user of Microsoft Office Suite and a whizz with Excel spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Developing planning and scheduling tools and processes, using existing systems
  • Ordering materials
  • Processing production orders 
  • Coordinating and planning production
  • Communicating on any production delays and resolving any problems
  • Scheduling and planning of upcoming installs
  • Preparing quotes and estimates
  • Monitoring of project deadlines and outcomes
  • Assisting with scheduling and job coordination

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Relevant experience in a similar production, planning and scheduling position within a trades / manufacturing / fabrication and install type business.
  • The ability to think critically and conceptually
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • A high standard of written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • High level of administration skills and experience with production planning programmes such as Moraware, Empower, and Excel.

High attention to detail and accuracy is critical, as is an organised approach to your work and the ability to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Oceanside Joinery Installation Ltd are specialists in the installation of residential and commercial joinery. They are currently looking for a Head Installer / Glazier to join their team servicing Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty region.

Reporting to the Owner/Manager, you will be working hands-on with the installation team, ensuring all tasks are completed, coordinating work across multiple areas and ensuring that health and safety protocols are followed, and time frames are met.

You should have substantial experience and knowledge of the glazing and joinery installation trade and the materials, tools and equipment needed, have good time management, leadership and organisational skills and be able to work well within a team as well as on your own with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Experience in glazing, residential and commercial aluminium joinery.
  • Proven track record of using a sucker bank, hanging curtain walls.
  • Accurate measuring skills and ability to use plans and work to specifications.
  • Installation experience / or building background.
  • A current Full Drivers license and own transport.
  • Must be fit and reliable.
  • Own their own hand tools.
  • Fluent spoken and written English, excellent communication skills and the ability to use computers is essential.
  • The ability to think outside the box.
